2009.....what a year

2009 was a major year for me.  I moved from Syracuse to Queens, lost my job(T-Mobile dealer), got a new job(Best Buy), got another new job 10 days later (Sprint) got married, became a Dad.  It's amazing how 1 year can change SO much in a person's life.  But it did, and I couldn't be happier.  Today I celebrate my 5 year anniversary with my wife.  Happy anniversary babe, I love you!

I joined Extra-Life to raise donations for the hospital my son was in

So, you guys know I don't do this often, so when I do it must mean a lot, right?  I decided to join Extra-Life in effort to raise donations for the hospital that my son was in shortly after being born.  They were great to my son and family.  Please check out my page, and if you're able, make a donation.   Completely optional, but 100% appreciated. I'd say I sometimes hate people.....

......but it's more like I always hate people. Look, if you're old enough to have a job here's a few pointers for you:

1.  If my total is $8.04 and I give $13.05, no matter how hard you stare at that 10, it won't do a trick

B.  It shouldn't take you 1 full minute to figure out my change because

3.  The fucking super high tech cash register, now will MULTIPLE LCDs attached to it, not 10 inches away from you can literally TELL you my change.

D.  Now this is key here, do not, I fucking repeat, DO NOT give me 5 singles.  There was a fucking point to me giving you those 3 singles.

Q.  Then do not tell me the reason you won't give me a 5 is because you "only have 1."  What the fuck does that mean? Are you fucking saving it for a special occasion?  Why am I not fucking special enough to get it?

I could go on, but I digress.  I just hate people.....

IFTTT

If This Then That (IFTTT) has finally come to Android! I've read up on this quite a bit and I'm excited to mess around with it. If you're unfamiliar with the app, it's an app where you create "recipes" that are kind of like a script.  There's close to 100 apps and settings to choose from. Once the "if" is triggered the app carries out the "then." For instance, I have a recipe where if I post to Blogger, then IFTTT creates a post to Facebook.  Or everyday at midnight it silences my phone.  I think it has huge potential.  This post is basically a test to see if the recipes I've made work the way I want them to.  As I experiment with the app I'll list some of my recipes.  Also if anyone has any recipes they use and would like to share, please send them my way.
